Disneyland Paris, which is one of the biggest energy users in France, is hoping Osram can help it improve the efficiency of its lighting and achieve its target of cutting energy use by 10 per cent from 2006 to 2013.
The first projects will be decided in the coming weeks.

Klaus-Günter Vennemann, Osram’s CEO of general lighting, said the agreement ‘will enable us to develop major joint lighting solutions that will support the very latest technological and sustainable lighting innovations while helping Disneyland Paris with its environmental goals,’
Euro Disney CEO Philippe Gas said the deal showed a common desire ‘to offer Disneyland Paris guests a quality lighting experience that blends environmental goals with efficiency and innovation’.
Osram’s subsidiary Osram-Sylvania also works with Disney in the US.
