The iconic Burj Al Arab is set to provide an even more spectacular nightly show after a major upgrade of the lighting system using a team of professional climbers.
The seven-star hotel, one of the most expensive and luxurious in the world, hosts a dynamic and colourful show every evening to promote the hotel. It has been seen by millions of visitor to Dubai every year.
The new show – supplied and programmed by local partner A&O Technology – features a strobing effect which frames the whole sail-shaped building. The company used a team of climbers to work on the installation on the luminaires and control gear on the exoskeleton of the 321-metre-high building. The materials as well as the control and programming were also supplied by the Abu-Dhabi-based lighting company.
