A host of major organisations and trade bodies have come out in support of the industry’s latest exhibition, LuxLive Middle East 2016.
The UAE Ministry of Energy, the Association of Professional Interior Designers (APID), Etihad Esco, the Emirates Green Business Council, media organization ITP, publisher of DesignMena and organizer of EcoMENA, the Society of Light and Lighting, the Middle East Lighting Association, the UAE Contractors Association and the Continental Automated Buildings Association are all backing the event, which takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in April.
‘Energy conservation is one of our core areas of focus, and we believe that our endorsement of LuxxLive 2016 will highlight the message that adoption of more efficient lighting technologies will yield significant energy savings in the MENA region’ says Salman Zafar of EcoMENA.
‘We’re delighted that so many of the major organisations in the region have seen fit to back what we are doing with LuxLive Middle East,’ said event director Peter Rowledge. ‘It’s an important endorsement of our key messages about education, product quality and standards.’
