The deadline for the Lux Awards 2016 has been extended by one week to Friday 8 July, the organisers have announced.
Now in its sixth year, the Lux Awards has established itself as the best recognised awards scheme in the business. The programme honours not just the people in the industry, but the customers who are doing great things with lighting.
‘Winning a Lux Award is independent recognition of the work you’re doing with lighting and represents priceless marketing material,’ said Ray Molony, chairman of the judges. ‘It demonstrates to your clients, colleagues and peers that you are on top of your profession.
‘But it’s not all about you. We’d also like those in the lighting industry – manufacturers, designers, consultants, specifiers and distributors – to nominate their clients for an award in the Client of the Year category. If you think one of your customers has done a great job and deserves credit, put their name forward. It’s easy – all the instructions are on the website.’
Organised by Lux magazine and the Lighting Industry Association, the Lux Awards are designed to celebrate and reward both creativity and sustainability.
Crucially, the awards also recognise clients and end-users that have used lighting in exceptional ways to improve their lit environment, reduce energy and achieve business objectives.
Entering has been made as easy as possible: log onto the website, upload your information and description, pictures and any supporting evidence you’d like to include.
