LuxLive Middle East has issued its call for speakers for 2017.

The acclaimed conference and exhibition – which debuted in Abu Dhabi but switches to Dubai this year –  features a range of opportunities for lighting professionals to share expertise and increase their profile in the region.

The inaugural show became the most talked-about lighting event in the region, winning plaudits with a memorable celebration of innovation and inspiration featuring renowned speakers in two spectacular custom-built arenas, 50 top international brands and cutting-edge technology.

This year the event will focus on five key tracks: hospitality and retail; outdoor and public realm; creative lighting design; human-centric lighting; and the Internet of Things and lighting.

Taking place in the five-star Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai, LuxLive brings together industry-leading lighting brands, specifiers and key decision makers on Wednesday 22 March and Thursday 23 March 2017.

‘We’re looking for passionate speakers who can inform and inspire our audience,’ says content director Ray Molony. ‘Lighting is a complex craft of both science and art and we firmly believe that education is the key to getting lighting at the heart of projects in the Middle East. A client who is excited about lighting will find the budget for it.’

The conference is part of the Dubai Lighting Week initiative and culminates in the spectacular Lux Awards Middle East 2017 on the evening of Thursday 23 March, a glittering celebration of excellence in lighting in the region and the industry’s ultimate night out.
