Organisers name venue for LuxLive Middle East

Set in the city’s bustling international business district, the five-star Sheraton Grand is set to be the inaugural venue for LuxLive Middle East in Dubai.

The Sheraton Grand in Dubai has won the contract to host the prestigious LuxLive Middle East 2017 conference and exhibition, as well as the glamorous Lux Awards, organisers announced today.

Set in the city’s bustling international business district, the five-star hotel is one of the downtown’s top hotels. It’s a 12-minute walk from the Dubai World Trade Center and its adjacent metro station, and six kilometres from the Dubai Mall.

The LuxLive Middle East conference and awards will take place in the stunning Starlight Ballroom while the exhibition takes place in expansive foyer, while delegates will mingle for coffee, lunch and networking.

The Lux Awards 2017 takes place in the spectacular poolside Dusk and Dawn Club on the 54th floor.

‘We’re delighted to award the contract to host the LuxLive Middle East event to this fine hotel,’ said content director Ray Molony. ‘The team from Sheraton have been fantastic and they share our excitement in bringing this unique event to Dubai. The venue matches our brand values in terms of design and prestige.’

The event brings together the world’s leading lighting brands, specifiers and key decision makers on Wednesday 22 March and Thursday 23 March 2017, making it a must-attend conference and exhibition for anyone involved in the specification and installation of lighting systems.

LuxLive Middle East is part of the Dubai Lighting Week initiative and culminates in the spectacular Lux Awards Middle East 2017 on the evening of Thursday 23 March, a glittering celebration of excellence in lighting in the region.
